Store Team Member
BIG W is currently seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join their team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as assisting customers in finding products, organizing and restocking merchandise, fulfilling online orders, and processing checkouts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. We currently have an exciting permanent opportunity to join the Commercial Everyday & Home Team as a Category Assistant in Kitchen & Table Top! As a Category Assistant, you have the opportunity to work closely with different business functions to ensure the success of Category roll out.
This is a 10 months fixed term/secondment opportunity based in the Norwest Support Office.
Some other responsibilities would include:
- Create suppliers in the system and support buyers with supplier correspondence and relations
- Support the development and maintenance of the assortment plan & buy plan and the collection of new article information
- Build deep knowledge of category and provide operational support to Buyers when they are traveling or on leave
Store 2IC
The 2IC is there to assist the Store Manager in motivating and inspiring their team, achieving store productivity goals and delivering the very best shopping experience for our customers.
• Analyse customer service metrics to identify opportunities and take action to improve store performance
• Commercial acumen to maximise sales while managing costs
• Ability to work with a team to implement and maintain operational processes
Softgoods Leader – Salary Range: AU$43k – AU$71k

Fill Leader – Estimated Salary: $22.70 per hour
The people who will work in this position are responsible for the works such as the renovation and recovery of the Warehouse and the allocation of the team. These works should be done within the time intervals determined by the company officials and within the budgets. You are responsible for the daily replenishment, presentation, workload and resource planning of the store in accordance with the company’s standards.
Store Manager – Salary Range: AU$43k – AU$71k
The Store Manager leads the store team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets by ensuring labour is allocated and routines are in place ensuring the right stock in the right place at the right time, merchandised according to Company standards and customers are served in a friendly and efficient manner.
